On Wednesday, July 14^th a small group of YPR members attended an executive breakfast at the Racine Zoo, featuring Jay Christie the Zoo’s C.E.O and director. Jay Christie spoke about his life growing up with his love of animals, as well as his great achievements and advancements in his profession. Following was a behind the scenes tour of the Zoo.

Executive breakfasts are held quarterly as part of YPR’s professional development series. It is an enriching event and a chance to receive diverse insight as well as meet new people. Don’t miss out on upcoming mornings!

Member Spotlight: Jodi Emmons

It’s appropriate that the Tom Petty concert is an annual stop for Jodi Emmons and her family. While some grumble that the community is “Free Fallin’,” she prefers to help those interested in “Runnin’ Down a Dream.”

She’s had a front-row seat to watch clients and employees meet their goals, with 10 years in the staffing industry. Emmons is now branch manager at Express Employment Professionals, a Racine business that connects companies with the workers they need.
