YPR Annual Events Lineup:
Something For Everyone!
There are many way to get involved in YPR, from fun social networking events to professional development opportunities and community service projects. Come to as many as your schedule will allow!
Some of our yearly events include:
Alive After 5
These bi-monthly events are held at different YPR Partner locations and are an informative way to meet other members or for prospective members to learn more about your organization. There is typically no charge for these events and they occur on the third Thursday of every other month.
Business Blender
This bi-monthly event has become “THE” Networking event in our community. Upwards of 200 people attend these networking events from both YPR and RAMAC to meet other business professionals from every season of their careers. Food and drink are complimentary and tours and entertainment are occasionally offered as well.
Executive Breakfast
This is a great event to meet top executives from our community and learn about their leadership story and how they climbed the career ladder. It is a morning event that includes breakfast.
Tuesdays with TED
This bi-monthly professional development event offers a variety of interesting topics presented through an online presentation and pairs it with a live local speaker to compliment the topic. Then, the audience is asked to participate in an open discussion and Q&A. Breakfast is included.
Making Connections
This yearly event brings together a diverse group of business professionals from YPR, Leadership Racine and the Hispanic Business Professionals organization. It includes a keynote speaker, speed networking and a casual networking reception with appetizers and drinks.
Wine Tasting
This yearly event lets our members taste wines from around the world paired with great food to compliment the regions. A great event “to see and be seen” in the great young professional community of Racine.
Golf Scramble
This yearly event is one you should make room for in your calendar.
Member’s Appreciation Event
New in 2011, this event is a yearly opportunity to thank our members for participating in our organization throughout the year. Includes fun entertainment, food, drink, and of course networking – all on us!
Annual Meeting
A year in review for our members and a time to share strategic plans for the organization. Most importantly, a time to hear back from our members about their expectations of YPR.
Martini Tasting
This unique yearly event is a fun way to kick off the summer. Several varieties of martinis are offered along with food and entertainment.
Intern: Taste and Tour of Racine
A chance to show our future business professionals the highlights of our city. Local summer interns from our largest companies are taken on a guided tour including the Racine Zoo and Racine Art Museum. YPR members are invited to come along to meet the interns.
Dodge Ball Tournament
Both ultra fun and competitive, this yearly event brings local company teams together to throw balls at one another until there is only one left standing. If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball!
